Title: Ode aan het Nedloydhuis

Wood, recovered wallpaper, paint
300 x 280 x 270 cm
2018

Site specific installation made in ‘Het plafond’ Rotterdam [Netherlands]. This installation is based on the constant moving of the city around us and how fast the rotation goos of old and new buildings, beautiful old buildings being replaced without a blink for new buildings that will be replaced in the future by new buildings etc. the never ending cycle. The Nedloydhuis was just being demolished on the other side of the street of ‘Het plafond’ and i decided to use this as a final farewell. for the building.
