This site-specific installation was created for a project at Foundation Mesh in Rotterdam. The work represents an old house—broken, abandoned, and fragmented. It was constructed entirely from found wood collected in the surrounding neighbourhood. Foundation Mesh was located in Spangen, one of the city’s older and rougher areas, which at the time was undergoing rapid transformation due to gentrification.
